Hello, I am Clare Fox and I provide counselling and supervision services in Perth and Fife as well as online and via telephone.
I work with adults, adolescents and older children.
I am an ‘integrative’ therapist which means I choose to use a range of approaches in recognition of each clients unique and individual needs, wants and situation. I will never take the role of ‘expert’ or ‘tell’ you what to do. You live your life, not me, and I recognise that entirely.
I’m happy to provide a no cost short introductory call prior to starting work together.
We can arrange this via the contact form in menu tab above or email me on: foxcounsellingservices@gmail.com
I have been a qualified therapist since 2012 and have experience of supporting people with a wide range of difficulties including domestic abuse, substance use, relationship and parenting difficulties, anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, menopause and other life stages such as adolescence.
I care deeply about equality of opportunity and the potential for everyone to work towards and experience positive mental wellbeing. I recognise the autonomy and power belongs with you and my aim is to support my clients to work towards their own individual goals in the work we undertake together.
I can provide face to face, online or telephone therapy.
The face to face therapy can happen in either Perth or Glenrothes in Fife. We can discuss which form of therapy suits best for your own individual needs and situation. I will contract with you prior to any therapy commencing so you know what is expected from you and what you can expect from me in terms of payment, cancellation of sessions, and how I use and protect your information.
My current session rate is £55 which is for 50 minutes (the recognised therapeutic hour). Payment for sessions is expected 24 hours prior to session time. I do not expect you to commit to a certain amount of sessions in advance however you may wish to do so for your own planning arrangements and to ensure you have the same time and day that suits you.
I am a Registered Member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to their ethical framework – for more information on this framework and what it means for our work together please visit BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
Please use the menu buttons above to explore further information about what to expect from therapy, a little more about my experiences and qualifications, how I will store and protect your information and also a contact form to make initial contact with myself.
Thank you for your interest.
